Babies and bumps

Driving with a baby or toddler can mean a whole new set of distractions for drivers, however long they have been driving – things they certainly didn't teach you when you passed your driving test. If you're new to the UK or have moved to a new area there's even more to take on board.

That's why the mums and dads at Alpha have put together a range of short courses to help mums, mums-to-be and those getting used to driving in a new area (or on a different side of the road!). Our instructors are amongst London's most experienced and even help to train other driving instructors.

Over a few one-to-one sessions we'll help you with hints and tips on best practice, how to cope with the extra distractions of driving with extra company in the back and help you gain more confidence when you're on the road. These individually tailored sessions have been specially created to help already experienced drivers to adapt to the needs of driving with a baby in the car. There are four courses for mums and mums-to-be, but if you have any specific requirements we'll be happy to create an itinerary that's right for you.

For mums-to-be. Two hour-long sessions concentrating on helping you to be a better and safer driver. Seat belt adjustment and air bag safety - journey planning for the comfort breaks. £65.00

Baby on Board

New Mums Course – three hour-long sessions helping you to get used to dealing with the distractions caused by combining traffic with attention-demanding babies and toddlers. Child safety seats and booster seats, seat belt law, air bag safety, child security locks. £95.00
